KEMIRA
Kemira and Ecohelix share the
vision of making bio-based materials mainstream. For Kemira we offered two valuable competitive advantages: the agility of a young company and cutting-edge technology.
Together, Ecohelix and Kemira have made significant progress over the years and verified the potential in several applications. Partnering in the EU project VEHICLE helped finance Ecohelix’s Swedish demo plant while giving Kemira a chance to actively co-develop final product features, to best answer to their customer needs.

DOMSJÖ FABRIKER
Domsjö Fabriker and Ecohelix have worked together from the early days of Ecohelix innovation. People in both companies have known each other for a long time and have utilized the academic and industrial knowledge and experience they share.
Domsjö Fabriker has provided the raw material platform for Ecohelix growth from lab-scale innovation and research project towards industrial scale production and success. Currently run demo plant has been used to verify the raw material, the process and the products with potential customers.

NOVONESIS
As the world leader in biological
solutions, Novonesis improves industrial performance. It is highly reputable global company with a focus on research, development and production of industrial enzymes, microorganisms, and biopharmaceutical ingredients.
Ecohelix and Novonesis have
partnered since 2014. Partnership has included research activities and supply of laccase enzyme needed in the Ecohelix process. Furthermore Novonesis is testing WOODMER® polymer products from Ecohelix with the aim of expanding market opportunities beyond pulp and paper.
