Ecohelix has received Environmental Permit for scale-up of the demo production

Ecohelix has received an environmental permit to expand the production in the current demo plant from 20 ton per year to 500 ton. Plant is located in Örnsköldsvik´s industrial area, alongside Domsjö Fabriker´s pulp mill. Environmental permit process includes the evaluation of environmental impacts of the plant to the nearby surroundings and people.
Ecohelix receives SEK 13 million to bring WOODMER® biopolymer products to market

Ecohelix announces that it has received a SEK 13 million grant from Vinnova, Sweden´s Innovation Agency. The grant enables Ecohelix to bring its sustainable biopolymer WOODMER® to the market. With the investment, Ecohelix is scaling up demo production plant to verify commercial scale production capabilities and to make sustainable biopolymer available on the market.

Ecohelix planning to build advanced production facility entirely from wood

Ecohelix secures 3,0 MEUR bridge funding to build towards full scale biopolymer production

Biotechnology scale-up company Ecohelix received new capital of 3,0 MEUR in funding round completed by end of July. Largest investors in this bridge round are Molindo Energy and Almi Invest GreenTech, who continue as anchor investors. The ownership base is also growing with the core team of employees investing in the company.
